Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.07%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.07% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 3.73% or 1,330.00 points to trade at 37,030.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 2.91% or 60.00 points to end at 2,124.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was up 2.77% or 470.00 points to 17,450.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which fell 3.81% or 354.00 points to trade at 8,926.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 3.02% or 1,820.00 points to end at 58,380.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 1.60% or 1,700.00 points to 104,800.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 332 to 128 and 77 ended unchanged.

Shares in Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.81% or 354.00 to 8,926.00. Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.91% or 60.00 to 2,124.00. Shares in NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) fell to 3-years lows; down 3.02% or 1,820.00 to 58,380.00. Shares in Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.77% or 470.00 to 17,450.00.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.59% or 0.46 to $77.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $80.79 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 2.20 to trade at $2,748.70 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.56, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.00% to 3.66.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 109.20.
