Harris ‘underperforming’ in NYC is ‘not good’ for Democrats: Sean Spicer

(NewsNation) — Vice President Kamala Harris was “underperforming” in New York City, at one point polling at 68% of the vote.

“The trend is not good for them,” NewsNation political contributor Sean Spencer said. “That’s a problem. … They’re not seeing a bright spot. We’re seeing Harris underperform.”

As of 12:14 AM, Harris was polling at 82.4% of the vote in New York City.

Harris won New York, which was an expected blue state victory, according to a projection from Decision Desk HQ.

The last time a Republican won New York was former President Reagan in 1984. The Democratic stronghold was home to former President Trump, who was born in Queens. He was a longtime New York real estate tycoon before he relocated to Florida. His son Barron Trump is a a freshman at New York University.
